How close are you to completing the Homestuck animation? You've done so much amazing work and I can't wait to see it completed.

Hello! Not to single you out, but I get about 5 of these messages a week.

Please stop asking when the video will be finished! On every single update I’ve posted, I have said “I intend to finish sketching it out”. And I am working on it. I cannot give an ETA, because I work on it when I feel like working on it, and in my free time, nothing more nothing less. Please be patient.

And a process video. It’s a little low-quality, but at least you can get a sense of how much I abuse ctrl-z, and how I am really just continuously flying by the seat of my pants. This is about 50 minutes’ worth of animating condensed to ~9 minutes.

My animation is literally the first result when you google “homestuck animation”. Every artist in existence will thank you I guarantee.

More than halfway done! Continuing this crazy animation experiment masquerading as a Homestuck tribute. The song is Nattoppet by Detektivbryan. Animated in Photoshop CS5, sound-synced with After Effects. Yes I will finish it eventually.

Sooo ummmm recently I hit something of a follower landmark and I figure GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT. And most people follow me for animation/Homestuck, so I whipped this up, and it only took me 1 Sherlock episode and also the Tin Tin movie ;u; I want to express my utmost gratitude…! I can’t really coherently use words to say things at this point, so enjoy the short animation, and know that I am somewhere in the world smooshing my face and lying sideways trying to understand. Thank you!

Drawing characters interacting is a lot of fun and pretty much the whole reason I want to animate, but it took me at least twice as long as usual. Timing action and reaction in facial expressions takes a lot of planning! Animated in CS5, yes I plan to finish the rough sketch+sound sync eventually. Thank you for your patience <3

Man I have had a busy month, papers upon papers upon school. But I am done for the semester and I am ready to kick back and chill for a few weeks, clean out my askbox, do all of these things I&#8217;ve been putting off. My tablet&#8217;s dying though so I might open up commissions soon!

High Res Trolls! Oh man this part took a while, thanks everybody for bearing with me. I still need to tweak a lot of the progression as I was just sort of eyeballing it the entire way, but I tried to make it at least a bit consistent. It&#8217;s really difficult to emulate camera movement like this, but the point of this project is to try new things. Next update will have the music added! Animated in Photoshop CS5.
